Shepard Automotive is unique in the field of automotive repair in many ways. The proprietor, Spencer Shepard, had the good fortune of being born into an auto repair business that was a mainstay of the community with a reputation for excellent service, honesty, integrity and fair pricing. He worked as a helper, mechanic and manager while learning the trade and the importance of treating customers with respect and honesty. He decided to pursue a career in Engineering (BS and MSME) and had a successful career in the field of Power Generation equipment manufacture and repair. During this time he maintained his passion for automobile repair, restoration and driving. He was, and continues to be, very active in several car clubs (Corvette, Corvair, Crosley and Mazda RX-7) and the Sports Car Club of America. In 1998 he had the opportunity to return to automobile repair on a full time basis and became a Brake Xperts franchisee. This allowed him to increase his involvement in classic and Sports Car repair while using his background to provide a place for the public to obtain competent repair service at fair prices. With years of competitive racing and a reputation in the racing industry as a highly competent engine builder, Tom Nelson is ready to service your Domestic or Import automobile.
